2001 Blazer: you wire a flat 4 trailer wiring harness
How do you wire a flat 4 trailer wiring harness to a 2001 Blazer 4x4? The plug has a wire, yellow,, and wire. The blazer - Answered by a verified Chevy MechanicGreetings and Welcome to Just answer. Brown is tail lights and goes to brown. White on the flat 4 is ground and goes to a ground so you may need to make one. The dark green is right turn and goes to right turn green on the 4 and the yellow is the left turn on both. Try these and let me know if that works. Also if that does not work, check the Tee where the truck part of the harness attaches inline. They are very common for gathering corrosion.Ok, did you test the wires with a test light coming out of the tee? I only stress the TEE because 99% of the time, that is the issue.Ok, do you have a test light? A meter reads voltage potential with out loading the circuit. A test light puts some amps in the circuit.A simple one is about 10-15 and worth every penny. I grab it long befor I go for my meter in most testing.TEst the power on the yellow, green and brown with the lights on using a clean ground for the clip. . \Ok, separate the TEE and test the colour of the same colours there. That would do it. LEt me know.OK, you tested the brown wire and it had power, so it must be a poor connection around the plug.Ok, I will not be around this evening, but post your reply and I will get back to you in the morning. What are the colours of the top 2?
